Hi, my name is Kate and I began working with clay as a means to slow my world and centre myself.
My practice has now expanded to working with a range of clay bodies and glazes, to explore both hand-built and wheel-thrown forms inspired by the natural landscapes of the Mornington Peninsula. Through this tactile approach, my work reflects a deep connection between material, emotion, and the grounding presence of nature.
